Who runs this site

calendar.pk runs this website. Here you can find and book wedding and event vendors in Pakistan, make free invitation cards, and check prayer times, Ramadan times, Hijri dates and holidays. For any question about your data, email us at [email protected].

Your account

You only need an account if you run a business on calendar.pk. You sign in on our own sign in page at sso.calendar.pk. It keeps your name, your email address and your password. Your password is stored in a scrambled form, so no one can read it.

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We never get your Google password.

Business details

When you list or claim a business, we keep what you enter: the name, description, phone, email, website, city, logo, cover photo, your services and prices, and the dates you mark as booked. Most of this is shown on your public page. That is what it is for.

The alert email you give us stays private. We only use it to send you alerts, such as a new booking request.

Booking and date requests

When you ask a business about a date, you give your name and phone number, and if you like an email address and a note. We pass this to that business owner only. They see it in their dashboard, and they may get an email with your name and phone number, so they can call or message you back.

We keep the request so the owner can find it later. Email us if you want it deleted.

Invitation cards

While you make a card, it stays in your own browser. When you download it, our server draws the picture and sends it back. We do not keep it.

If you ask for wording ideas, describe your event in your own words, or ask for Urdu text, we send that text to Anthropic's Claude, which writes the reply.

If you make a share link, we keep the card on our server so your guests can open it. We delete it 30 days after the last date on the card, or after 90 days if it has no date. You can delete it yourself at any time.

Helper chat

The Ask calendar.pk chat sends your questions, the chat so far and your saved city to Anthropic's Claude, which writes the answers. We do not save the chat on our server. Your browser keeps it until you close the tab.

What your browser keeps

If you sign in, we set cookies that keep you signed in. Signing out removes them.

Your browser also keeps a few things on your device: your city, light or dark mode, your card drafts, and the private key that lets you edit a shared card. They stay on your device unless you use the feature they are for.

We use no analytics, no ads and no tracking cookies.

Your internet address

Like every website, our servers see your internet address. We use it to stop abuse, for example to limit how many cards one address can make in an hour.

Services we use

These companies help us run the site. Each one gets only what it needs for its job.

• Cloudflare carries every visit to our site and protects it from attacks. It also forwards mail sent to [email protected].
• Resend sends our email alerts, such as a new booking request to a business owner.
• Anthropic's Claude writes card wording and the answers in the helper chat.
• Venice made the background pictures for our cards. We send it nothing about you.
• Google Places and OpenStreetMap give us public details of businesses, such as name, address, phone and photos. Some business pages show a map that your browser loads straight from OpenStreetMap.

Public business listings

Many business pages are built from public sources, such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and the business's own website. If it is your business, you can claim the page and fix the details, or ask us at [email protected] to remove it.

We never sell your data

We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

Get or delete your data

Email [email protected] from the address you use with us. We will send you a copy of your data, fix it or delete it, including your whole account. Business owners can also change their details at any time in their dashboard.
